Several factors that are consistent across many research studies include affordable housing, safe and walkable streets, access to employment and mobility networks, options for entertainment and recreation, and the often intangible characteristic known as “buzz.” The City of Baltimore (population 622,000) has struggled with economic stagnation, ...

Im looking at pics from this event in N.Y on twitter and i gota just say that mexicans got NOTHING on latinas from the east coast. They just look better and got better bodies. Most of these nasty mexican bitches out here are shaped like pears. I noticed that some black dudes out in L.A who dont like latinas rethink that when they travel to the east coast or puerto rico Its strictly black women for men in california but if i was on the east coast id bag a rican chick Statistics: Posted by ManOnIce — December 22nd, 2014, 7:50 pm — Replies 3 — Views 95

Cities today are at the forefront of innovation with engaged leaders and citizens actively tackling society’s biggest challenges. One of those challenges is information sharing during natural disaster. According to the Red Cross’ World Disasters Report, information becomes as vital as food, water, and shelter during emergencies, and technology can be a powerful tool for getting it into the hands ...
  • Why Smart Infrastructure Often Looks Like a Unicorn

    Peter Torrellas

After years of working inside bigger and older companies (like Siemens) and also leading edge boutique technology companies (like Optym), I’ve found that one problem related to working with cities stands out from all the others. Cities, in general, have not yet realized that deploying technology to improve infrastructure can only be done efficiently when multiple cities join forces with ...

In addition to dog walking, I’ve also signed up with a separate service as a dog-sitter. The name says it all. I go over to a stranger’s house and watch their dogs. I thought this would be a pretty simple and fun way to make money.            The first time was not fun. I had a beagle that staying over at my house. This beagle was spoiled rotten. It would bay and cry if it didn’t get your food. It also loved to pee and poop in the house, specifically Geoff’s room (sorry Geoff). It wouldn’t be quiet unless it could sleep with me,…

Alright, so it’s been a while since I’ve written, but I assure you, it’s because I’m busy trying everything this city has to offer. Recently, I’ve spent a lot of time with dogs. I’ve joined the city’s elite club: dog walkers. Everyday, I head out of my beautiful home in Brooklyn and make my way to the Upper East Side. RuffCity is a pretty high class walking company, and they only do single walks. Because of that,…
